It has been reported that Pokemon Go has earned over 160 million in revenue worldwide, since its release. The mobile app was originally released on July 6 for iOS and Android. To date, it has become highly popular among old and new fans of the franchise.
The app’s rise in popularity and player experience has not been without its share of concerns. The game has experienced server crashes, gameplay exploits, matters of trespassing and crimes involving the game. Despite these issues the game has remained popular.
As per the report with Sensor Tower, the game has gained 160 million in less than a month. The app has also achieved this milestone while being released in only half of the regions where the App store and Google play store is available.
An interesting note regarding daily usage was observed as well. Since the new update which has displeased fans, player usage has actually increased.
With the success the app has experienced, it’ll be interesting to see what’s in store for the future.
