A Westerner by birth, GaijinHunter moved to Japan many years ago to work as a game developer and uses his position to push to release Japanese exclusive titles throughout the rest of the world.

His latest campaign, #MHXfortheWest, seeks to push Capcom to release Monster Hunter X around the world. Currently, the game is slated for a November 28th release date in Japan only.

Traditionally, Capcom has released a Monster Hunter game in Japan and then releases an “Ultimate” version in the rest of the world about a year to a year and a half later. GaijinHunter’s goal is to get a simultaneous worldwide release date, similar to what we got with Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire late last year.
