The remaster will contain enhanced visuals, 4K resolution, and surround sound support as well as a new “very easy” mode for inexperienced players, the ability to remap the controller, training modules, and a minimap. Additional VR content will include a 3D Hangar, a 3D Model Viewer, and a Cinematic Theater.

Those who pre-order the game from the PlayStation Network will receive a special “Welcome to MARS” theme as well as several Zone of the Enders avatars.

A 4K and VR demo of Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner MARS is set to be released on the PlayStation Store before the launch of the full game, and a new trailer can be seen on Konami Europe’s Twitter.

The original game, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, released for PlayStation 2 in Japan, North America, and Europe in 2003 and was re-released as part of the Zone of the Enders HD Collection for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012, which was also the first time the games were released in Australia.
