Recently, a credited leaker spilled on Reddit that Bungie is currently working on Destiny 3, and they broke down some avid details on what to expect when the game launches.

The leaker, AnonTheNine, shared their exclusive details a few days ago. The most significant change allegedly coming to Destiny 3 is that Guardians will have the ability to choose if they’d like to use Light, the main force that fuels their power, or Darkness, the series’ main antagonistic force.

With this choice in place, players will allegedly have the opportunity to take part in PvPvE battles in certain areas. They’ll supposedly fight for control of territories, attempting to win it over for their given faction.

Though, don’t worry about getting griefed, as AnonTheNine described it as, “PvP its there for a reason and not for griefing the heck out of people.”

Why offer players this choice in the first place? AnonTheNine shares that Bungie will reportedly double down on the RPG effects in Destiny 3. This transition is supposedly in place to make Destiny 3 more welcoming to hardcore players where, as AnonTheNine describes it, “Guardians who play 2 hours per week will abandon the game.”

However, keep in mind that all of these comments and statements are unverified, as of yet.

AnonTheNine does have a reliable history, though; he was the one who broke news about the nine new subclasses coming to Destiny 2’s Forsaken DLC and shared the return of the Thunderlord exotic returning in the Festival of the Lost. Data miners recently confirmed this, but we’re still waiting in anticipation for it.
