Resident Evil 7 is the next entry in the popular and successful Resident Evil (Biohazard) franchise, which has changed direction somewhat with this coming offering. Now, it shifts to a first-person view bringing players closer to the horror than ever before, delivering unparalleled immersion. The intriguing aspect of this is the fact the level of immersion is ever increased by the inclusion of the PlayStation virtual reality headset which will be available before the game’s release.
The new Resident Evil features modern, rural America, taking place after the events of Resident Evil 6. The game will feature the series’ classic exploration, gameplay elements and ominous atmosphere the franchise is known for, with a completely different approach to gameplay systems.
