Infinite Crisis Closer Look

I played Infinite Crisis. Was it worth the 4 hours? YES
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Last night at 7 P.M. Infinite Crisis servers opened up to beta testers! The goal was to overload the servers and crash it… and it was a major success!

The game is not a simple one to learn. A standard MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) has easier controls because they are across almost all the games. League of Legends, DOTA, etc. But, with Infinite Crisis, the controls are almost reversed.

I would recommend Infinite Crisis to anyone who wants to get into MOBA games and doesn’t have a very good computer. League of Legends and Smite require some heavy gaming computers. This one I can play on low settings with no lag at all.

As one user puts it that I interviewed this morning:

I think in game they have the theme down pat. Definitely getting the superhero vibe. The characters I’ve played so far have abilities that fit them and playstyles logical to what you’d expect. This is a big plus as there is no way the developers could just tweak if it weren’t the case.” – MG

The graphics of the game are great even at the lower qualities. They still run what you need, when you need it. I loved playing as Doomsday because when you used the lowest settings and used the Kryptonian Rage cast, the effects of the cast showed up completely and did not lag the game.

The sound was intense. It had original character voice overs. But, at the main menu it does sound like Jarvis (yes, the Jarvis from Iron Man), and it made me laugh so hard. Except it was the female form of Jarvis, which made the game so much better.

For playability: I loved how easy it was to get into the game. The controls in the game make it easier than a lot of MOBAs and it creates a lot of light and heavy character abilities which, as MG says, “…abilities that fit them and play styles logical to what you’d expect.”

The game itself has endless combinations, as I explained in my last article. HERE

So, for the gameplay and playability I would easily give this amazing game a 10/10. It works on fast and slow computers with medium to no lag. Almost always playable.

For the Graphics, 10/10 as they worked well always.

For the Audio, a decent 7/10 as they were not original actors which would have boosted the playability over the top.

Overall I would give this game a strong 9/10 for how amazing everything was when you put it all together.
