There are 30 sub-weapons and 40 tokens. You collect them as you progress through the game.

Tokens

Tokens give your character a little boost to get through a dungeon run in AT:EtDBIDK. Whether it’s an attack boost, speed boost, or an attack enhancer, tokens are necessary for a successful run.

Each character in AT:EtDBIDK can equip two tokens, except for Finn and Peppermint Butler. Finn can equip three. Peppermint Butler can only equip one.

 Token Tips

Speed running through a floor: If you want to speed run through a floor in AT:EtDBIDK, I recommend picking a character that has the float ability. I usually pick Marceline, as she can absorb projectiles if too many are shot in her direction. This builds up imagination, which you can then use to attack all enemies in an area.

The tokens I equip for speeding through a floor are Speedy Feet and either Thump Token or Zeldron’s Armor. This gives you some extra life for when you’re passing by groups of enemies. With this set, you can easily pick up gold and chests while mostly ignoring enemies. This allows for quick ins and outs of dungeon floors.

Playing as a killing machine: If you want to take your time in each floor in AT:EtDBIDK, killing all the enemies and clearing out the dungeon for maximum treasure, I recommend you picking a tankier character like Cinnamon Bun or a middle character with a useful ability like Jake.

You are going to want to equip Wishing Eye for increased attack damage and either Turtle Princess Medal, Zeldron’s Armor, Thump Token, or Force Field. This gives you either more tankiness or better blocking capabilities.

By using Jake with this method, you can go over most pits and water pools. If you want to be able to do that but use a different character, you can always use Tiny Wings instead of one of the defense tokens. You can also play as Finn and equip Tiny Wings as your third token.

Sub-Weapons

Sub-weapons are collectible throughout your dungeon delving in AT:EtDBIDK. You can find them scattered throughout the dungeon or purchasable in the store. They add variety to the game and, let’s face it, are downright hilarious most of the time.

Sub-Weapon List
  • Bamboo Pole: pretty useless, really.

Sub-Weapon Tips

Your sub-weapon of choice in AT:EtDBIDK will most likely come down to preference and what the rest of your friends are using if you are playing co-op. However, keep in mind that it is useful to have a melee attack if you are playing as a ranged character and a ranged attack if you are playing as a melee character.

Poot Newt is my preferred ranged weapon and Goblin Whip is my preferred melee. Both of these hurt pretty hard if you can land their hits. Goblin Whip also has a really nice radius of attack.

As you can see, this list is currently incomplete. I will be updating it daily until it is complete, so, be sure to check back to find out the complete list of tokens and sub-weapons for AT:EtDBIDK.
