Little Kitty, Big City hit shelves on May 9, introducing a cast of unforgettable city critters. Chameleon is a natural magician and just one of the animals you’ll meet on your way home. Convinced that Kitty’s weird eyes are the reason he’s so easy to spot, Chameleon challenges you to seek out his other hiding spots around the city. Fortunately, the magician offers hints along the way — and a fitting reward. Here’s where to find Chameleon in Little Kitty, Big City.
Where to Find Chameleon in Little Kitty, Big City
You’ll first meet Chameleon at the Zen garden in Little Kitty. From there, he’ll send you on a wild goose chase to find him in eight different hiding spots around the city. Let’s take a look at each of his locations and their corresponding riddles.
Hiding Spot | Riddle | Location | How to Find |
---|---|---|---|
#1 | There is a place where hard hats shine, where concrete pours and diggers whine. I’ll be camouflaged nearby. Invisible to your weird eye. | Chameleon is hiding at the construction site in a nearby port-o-potty. To find him, head down the alley to the right of the main entrance. | |
#2 | A metal friend with arms spread wide provides a place to climb and slide. But you won’t know I’m there at all because I’ll be invisible! | You’ll find Chameleon hiding at the top of the slide in the robot-themed park. | |
#3 | A sealed glass case containing snacks can stop a human in their tracks. What’s better than just one machine? A group of six to choose between! | This one’s a little tricky! Snack machines litter the city, but you’ll find just one row of six near the park. Chameleon is hiding on top of the machines. | |
#4 | Lizards used to rule the Earth (and will again — just mark my words!) but, until then, there’s World of Gecku, a store where I will now expect you! | Chameleon kept this hint simple. World of Gecku is just across the street from your apartment, marked by a gargantuan Gecku statue. You’ll find him above a shelf on the back wall of the store. | |
#5 | So far, I’ve been far too merciful. So let’s go somewhere way more vertical! I’ll be near a rooftop garden past the water-wielding warden! | I won’t lie; this spot can be tough to reach. Across the street from the produce stand, you can scale a building with a rooftop deck. This leads to the building next door, where a gardener won’t hesitate to spray you with a hose. To find Chameleon, sneak along the right-hand side of the deck and enter the back gate. You can also turn off the hose (temporarily) to steal a fishy from the kitchen window. | |
#6 | This rooftop was a bad idea — an alleyway will bring me cheer. Just look out for the big red bullseye and… something something something… BYE! | There’s a super tall building that looks a lot like a Target warehouse downtown. You can spot Chameleon on the main wall, but you’ll need to scale the building starting from the truck loaded with boxes outside in order to reach him. This requires a lot of jumping (and patience), but it’s totally doable. | |
#7 | You’ll come down to the river-front, where, magic-cloaked, I’ll watch you hunt. To find me is your dearest wish… Just don’t get sidetracked by the fish! | A break from the toughies! Head down to the waterfront area to find Chameleon hiding on a sign in the garden. While you’re there, be sure to grab the Fish Hat and steal a tasty fishy from the fisherman. | |
#8 | Beside the small convenience store, protected by a well-locked door, you’ll find a room where humans rest and that’s where I’ll conclude this test! | You might have found the convenience store bathroom if you already brought the ducklings home. If not, you can find Chameleon’s final hiding spot by climbing the crates outside the building and jumping through the window. |
