Anime is a growing part of the entertainment market, with estimates valuing it over 62 billion in 2023. Highly popular, especially among children and young adults, it offers the perfect crossover material for Fortnite. Here are all the anime skins in Fortnite, and what might be coming in the future.
All Anime Skins in Fortnite
What first started as a unique skin during Fortnite’s Season 5 Chapter 2 quickly turned into some of the game’s most successful collaborations. Lexa, an anime-themed character with mechanical elements on her outfit and in the set, set fire to the idea of anime being incorporated into the battle royale. Since the game is already known for featuring skins of popular characters such as Green Arrow, it makes perfect sense that players would want to see Goku, Naruto, Luffy, or Sailor Moon outfits, too.
While the majority of anime-themed skins are in conjunction with a popular anime event, some of them are emblematic of the genre as a whole. After Lexa, the Anime Legends Pack was developed, which has one of the most popular skins in the game, Golden Gear Midas. Other thematic skins have been rewarded for completing the Battle Pass from different seasons.

A Complete List of Fortnite Anime Collabs
Along with the general anime-style skins, there are sets developed in partnership with popular, long-running franchises. So far, there’s been five collaborations.
Naruto
The first collab to hit Fortnite was Naruto. Originally released in 2007 on Toonami, the anime has 500 episodes and a sequel show, Boruto, which is currently airing. The set launched during Chapter 2 Season 8. It started out with four skins, but has since grown to include nine total.
- Gaara
- Hinata Hyuga
- Itachi Uchiha
- Kakashi Hatake
- Naruto Uzumaki
- Orochimaru
- Sakura Haruno
- Sasuke Uchiha
Dragon Ball
The Dragon Ball franchise is one of my absolute favorites, partly due to nostalgia and partly due to how amazing the fights are. While none of the skins in the set feature the original Dragon Ball anime, they do come from Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. It released in August 2022 with four skins, and three alt styles for Goku and Vegeta.
- Beerus
- Bulma
- Cell
- Frieza
- Goku Black
- Piccolo
- Son Gohan
- Son Goku
- Vegeta
My Hero Academia
Rounding out 2022 was the partnership between Fortnite and My Hero Academia. It came with its own island, the Hero Training Gym. Four skins were added to the shop, while three more were released at a later time.
- All Might
- Eijiro Kirishima
- Izuku Midoriya
- Katsuki Bakugo
- Mina Ashido
- Ochaco Uraraka
- Shoto Todoroki
Attack on Titan
Unlike Dragon Ball, Attack on Titan wasn’t introduced to Fortnite with its own event. Eren became unlockable during the 24.20 update in April 2023, with his compatriots Levi and Mikasa available for purchase in the shop. Also, the set name for the trio isn’t Attack on Titan, but Special Operations Squad, making this the only anime to not have the skin set named after it.
- Captain Levi
- Eren Jaeger
- Mikasa Ackerman
Jujutsu Kaisen
Released August 2023 in update 25.3, the Break the Curse! collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen features the four main characters of the current anime arcs. Both of Yuji’s skins were earned through the Premium Reward Track during the event.
- Megumi Fushiguro
- Nobara Kugisaki
- Satoru Gojo
- Streetwear Yuji Itadori

Do Anime Skins Work in LEGO Fortnite? Answered
Woefully, for all anime fans, skins don’t carry over to the LEGO Fortnite experience. Even though they show up in-game under your outfits, a default skin will be applied to your character. Anime skins only work outside of specific experiences.
Potential Fortnite Anime Crossovers Coming in 2024
Nothing has been confirmed regarding anime partnerships for 2024. One of the most highly rumored animes coming to the game is One Piece, though, which makes sense considering the recent success of the live-action show, as well as the announced remake of the anime’s earliest seasons. However, do note that this is only a rumor.
Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey recently posted the contents of the most recent interest survey. In the past, these surveys often had one or two collaborations that came to fruition, such as the 2021 survey that listed Jujutsu Kaisen as a potential anime partnership.
According to the images posted, there are a variety of shows that the team is gauging community interest in. The options include additional characters for Dragon Ball, as well as Demon Slayer and Spy x Family. I personally didn’t receive the survey, so I can’t confirm the contents. It does line up with previous practices.
