Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home Romance Characters
Starting out in Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home, you choose to be either a male or female character. Interestingly, this choice has a small effect on what characters you can romance. Whichever character you choose to be at the start, the other becomes a villager in the town and your childhood best friend.
- Choose to be a girl and your friend is a boy named Justin;
- Choose to be a boy and your friend is a girl named Christina.
So, with that in mind, players will have a choice of seven romantic options. Will you choose your old best friend, or explore romance with someone new?

Not all the Harvest Moon Home Sweet Home characters will be available to befriend and romance straight away. Jacques and Malika, in particular, arrive later in the game after you have completed the first few chapters. Get to know everyone, chat every day, and give them gifts of their favorite foods or produce to increase your friendship.
