The Shadow Briefings are still going strong in Fortnite as a quick and easy way to earn Gold Bars. However, now more than ever, vehicle briefings have come in clutch. For Week 3 quests, you’ll also need to complete one, so here’s where you find all the Vehicle Shadow Briefings on the map.
Fortnite Vehicle Shadow Briefings — How to Find & Complete Them
The Vehicle Shadow Briefings are the most useful of them all this season because they rift in a car for you to use, set with a Cow Catcher mod on the front. Like all briefings, you’ll also earn some Gold Bars for completing the task.
To start up a Vehicle Shadow Briefing, you’ll need to find one of the job boards around the map. There are eight of them spread around the Season 3 map, and here’s where you find them all.
All Vehicle Shadow Briefing Locations (Map)
- Northeast of Lavish Lair
- South of Classy Courts
- Northwest of Grand Glacier
- East of Reckless Railways
- Southwest of Reckless Railways
- North of Restored Reels
- West of Sandy Steppes
When you get to these locations, you’ll find the job board on the side of the road. It looks like an open metal briefcase with a digital screen revealing a steering wheel icon. The board will also appear on the map as an open briefcase icon.
To activate the mission, approach the case and hold the interaction button (X, Square, or E). Once it activates, you will have a limited time to complete the task to earn Gold Bars. You’ll also complete your week 3 quest.
How to Complete the Vehicle Shadow Briefing
To complete this vehicle Shadow Briefing, you’ll have to hop into the rifted car and drive it the required 500 distance. You can find the rifted car by the icon that pops up on your screen, usually just down the roads a bit from the briefcase.
This car is usually a sports car with a free Cow Catcher mod attached. This comes in handy, especially for this very dangerous vehicle-focused season. Once you’re in the car, all you need to do is drive. You can drive in any direction, and it’ll rack up the distance for you.
After you complete the task, you’ll be rewarded your Gold Bars instantly. However, you don’t have to give up the car. You can keep on driving and using it as long as you like (or until it gets exploded by an enemy player).
