Oil is an important crafting material in ARK: Fjordur, and there are several ways to extract it. However, the best way is to find an oil vein and craft an Oil Pump. This guide will show you the exact coordinates of all oil vein locations in ARK: Fjordur, as well as provide you with a crafting recipe for the Oil Pump.

All Oil Vein Locations

There are four oil veins on the Fjordur map where you can set up Oil Pumps to collect oil passively. These locations include Broken Meadows, Runheimr Forest, Snaerheimr Mountains, and southeast of Vardiland island.

Here is a complete list of all oil veins and their exact coordinates:

  • 19.40 – 15.10
  • 24.30 – 15.30
  • 27.40 – 24.70
  • 31.20 – 67.60
  • 32.20 – 67.80
  • 16.40 – 92.70
  • 33.30 – 96.40

Collected oil can be used for crafting a variety of materials and items, such as:

Oil Pump Crafting Recipe

  • 75 Metal Ingot / Scrap Metal Ingot.
  • 25 Electronics.
  • 25 Crystal / Prime Crystal.

You will also need an Electrical Generator and a Wind Turbine before you can craft an Oil Pump at the following stations:

  • Fabricator.
  • Tek Replicator.

One Oil Pump collects one unit of oil every 20 seconds of real-time; it will reach capacity in 28 hours. After that, you will need to craft a new Oil Pump if you wish to keep collecting oil from the same vein.
