Best Locations to Get Mythic Weapons in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

Mythics are the best rarity weapons in Fortnite, so whether you’re looking to improve your chances of winning or are trying to get that Korra skin, you’ll need to know where to find them. Here are some of the best locations to get Mythic weapons this season.

Where to Get Mythic Items in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

Being the highest rarity items in the game, they aren’t as easy to come across as other rarity loot. The only exception to this is the Waterbending Mythic scroll and Zeus’ Lightning Bolt. They can be found in ground loot or chests for a limited time.

However, if you’re looking for other options, you can get four Mythic weapons from NPC bosses around the map. These will be more challenging than just looting a chest, though, because you’ll need to challenge and defeat one of the Gods.

Hades’ Harbinger SMG

You can get the Mythic version of the Harbinger SMG by heading to the Underworld and challenging Hades himself to a duel. You’ll find the podium at the top of the very top of the temple just below Hades’ throne.

Once you interact with the podium, the duel begins. You will need to defeat several waves of enemies before Hades spawns. Keep a safe distance, avoiding his health drain ability and whip that pulls you toward him. Once you defeat him, he will drop all the loot on the ground, including that Mythic weapon.

Cerberus’ Gatekeeper Shotgun

The next Mythic weapon is not far off from the Underworld. You’ll find it by visiting Grim Gate and, just like Hades, challenging Cerberus to a duel.

The podium for Cerberus is just to the left of the large three-headed dog wall at the mouth of the River Styx. This boss duel pits you against waves of wolves before Cerberus spawns. Cerberus is fast with his phase ability, but you can use his skill against him by stepping into the River Styx waters and gaining some phases yourself.

Zeus’ Huntress DMR

The Mythic Huntress DMR is earned by defeating Zeus. You can find his podium at Mount Olympus, at the very far eastern side. But, be warned, Zeus may be one of the hardest bosses to kill out of all of them.

Unlike the other gods, Zeus will confront you right away after you challenge him. You’ll need to get his health down almost all the way before he goes invulnerable and summons minions. After defeating the minions, you’ll need to do another whole wave against Zeus. You’ll definitely want to pick any ammo and shield pots available around the temple. Avoid Zeus’ Lightning strikes at all costs and you should be able to grind the battle out and claim your Mythic.

Ares’ Warforged Assault Rifle

Last but not least, you can get the Mythic Warforged Assault Rifle by challenging Ares at the Brawler’s Battleground. His podium is right inside the disheveled coliseum.

Ares’s boss battle is a lot like Hades, summoning minions right away in several waves and then appearing himself. You’ll want some shield before facing Ares. He does increased damage with his AR, and headshots on you will really hurt. Try to keep high ground and avoid his shots as much as possible. Once defeated, you can pick up that Mythic AR for yourself, along with his Aspect which will allow you to do more damage as well.

Having a Mythic weapon will definitely give you a step up in the competition and better your chances of getting to the end. However, you’ll need to prove yourself worthy by challenging and defeating a god to get one. Lots of other players will be looking to do the same, so be quick, and hopefully, you’ll come out on top with that shiny weapon in hand.
