Totk Recipe 1: Hearty Mushroom Skewer

  • Ingredients: Hearty Truffles.
  • Effect: Fully restores HP. Adds 1 temporary heart.

If you’re losing hearts too quickly, then the best way to restore them just as fast is to cook and eat a Hearty Mushroom Skewer. You can find Hearty Truffels inside the caves all over Hyrule Field and West Necluda, including:

  • Sahasra Slope Cave (1373, -1197, 0235)
  • Ancient Tree Stump Cave (-1112, -0432, 0128)

Totk Recipe 2: Hasty Elixir

  • Ingredients: 1 Hot-Footed Frog + 1 Any Monster Part
  • Effect: Increases speed of movement.

Speed is essential in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, as you need to quickly traverse vast areas without wasting much time and energy. This elixir will not only boost your speed when running, but also during swimming and climbing. The main habitats of Hot-Footed Frogs are:

  • Ludfos Bog (-2061, 0769, 0101)
  • Nabi Lake (1019, -1185, 0010)

Totk Recipe 3: Enduring Fried Wild Greens

  • Ingredients: Endura Carrots.
  • Effect: Fully restores stamina. Adds 30% bonus stamina.

If you need to quickly restore your stamina, then there’s no better or simpler meal than this. Cook one carrot at a time and get bonus stamina on top of what you already have. You’ll be able to find Endura Carrots at the following spots:

  • Yamiyo Shrine (0333, 0470, 0043)
  • Horse God Bridge (0589, -3740, 0035)

Totk Recipe 4: Sticky Elixir

  • Ingredients: 1 Sticky Lizard or 1 Sticky Frog + 1 Any Monster Part
  • Effect: Increases slip resistance.

How many times you had to climb over a slippery slope just to go back down to where you’ve started? If the answer is too many times, then you absolutely need to make this elixir to keep this from happening again.

You find Sticky Lizards in any cave across the Kingdom of Hyrule, and Sticky Frogs all around East Necluda. I was able to discover a ready-made Sticky Elixir inside the treasure chest at Thundra Plateau (-2223, 0988, 0105).

Totk Recipe 5: Bright Mushroom Skewer

  • Ingredients: Brightcaps.
  • Effect: Makes Link glow in the dark.

If you’re tired of constantly using Lightroots to light up the dark caves, then cook some Brightcaps in the pot, and start glowing on your own. The more mushrooms you cook, the longer it’ll last. You’ll be able to find Brightcaps at the following locations:

  • Hebra Mountains Northwest Cave (-2996, 3226, 0540)
  • Passeri Greenbelt Cave (-0512, 0128, 0021)

Totk Recipe 6: Sneaky Elixir

  • Ingredients: 1 Sunset Firefly + 1 Any Monster Part
  • Effect: Increases stealth.

In case you find yourself in a situation when you simply wish to skip certain areas completely unnoticeable to monsters and animals, then this elixir will make you almost invisible, hushing your footsteps. You can find Sunset Fireflies only at the sunset in the forests and meadows, or you could find a bottle of Sneaky Elixir inside the chest south of Vatorsa Snowfield in Gerudo Highlands at coordinates -3630, -1388, 0344.

Totk Recipe 7: Sunny Steamed Meat

  • Ingredients: 2 Sundelion + 3 Raw Meat
  • Effect: Repairs broken hearts.

If Link comes into contact with Gloom effect, he’ll not only lose HP, but his hearts will be broken, too. When this happens, then there’s only one way to restore these damaged hearts: eating cooked Sundelion with some raw meat. You can pick up Sundelion all over the sunny fields on the Sky Islands, or you could find them inside treasure chests at:

  • Agaat Canyon Mine (-4892-0879-1084)
  • Hebra Canyon Mine (-30732913-0811)

Totk Recipe 8: Mighty Simmered Fruit

  • Ingredients: Mighty Bananas.
  • Effect: Increases ATK.

This one’s going to help before any significant fight with a boss or any other enemy that you consider too strong to beat on your own. Typically, a full meal of five bananas lasts for four minutes, but you can add more or less bananas to adjust the duration. You can find the banana trees at the following locations:

  • Lake Floria (1573, -3531, 0061)
  • Eventide Island (4511, -3502, 0002)

Totk Recipe 9: Tough Mushroom Skewer

  • Ingredients: Ironshrooms.
  • Effect: Increases DEF.

This would be a great meal combo with Mighty Simmered Fruit before going into battle with a boss, boosting both your power and defenses. You can identify these Ironshrooms by characteristic hats that resemble turtle scales. They typically grow under the trees all over East Necluda, but try looking specifically at Rabella Wetlands (2403, -2804, 0218).

Totk Recipe 10: Spicy Sauteed Peppers

  • Ingredients: Spicy Peppers.
  • Effect: Increases cold resistance.

If you haven’t been able to find cold-resistant armor just yet, then the best alternative would be to cook some Spicy Peppers. Just five of these will last for 12 minutes, which is quite a long time. You can find Spicy Peppers in abundance almost anywhere from Great Sky Island to Hyrule Field and Gerudo Desert.
