The Best STG44 Loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone

The STG44 returned to Call of Duty: Warzone a few weeks ago, and it has become a popular option among competitive players. The assault rifle excels at medium to long range with its easy-to-control recoil and damage at range, but to take its performance to the next level, you need to add the following attachments.

The Quartermaster Suppressor has become a popular option since its addition. This suppressor improves the weapon’s recoil control at the expense of some ADS and sprint-to-fire speed. Hitting your enemies at long ranges is key to killing them fast, so improving the STG44’s recoil is a priority.

For the barrel slot, you must equip the Heinrichter C70 Long Barrel. This attachment improves the weapon’s damage range and bullet velocity at the expense of a slower sprint-to-fire and ADS movement speed. Extending the STG44 damage and bullet velocity will make long-range shooting easier than before, so it’s worth the movement penalty.

For sights, you’ll use the Corio Eagleseye 2.5X. This clean and low-magnification sight will help you acquire and track targets at medium ranges. With the reduced recoil and extended damage range, this optic will make the STG44 perfect to battle against other assault rifles.

We recommend you use the DR79 Combo stock. This stock helps you with recoil at the cost of hip fire spread, ADS, and sprint-to-fire speed.

To finish our STG44 loadout, equip the 50-round drum magazine. The mobility and handling penalties are substantial, but with 50 rounds, you’ll fight a few enemies before you need to reload.

A breakdown of the full build is below:

  • Quartermaster Suppressor
  • Heinrichter C70 Long Barrel
  • Corio Eagleseye 2.5X
  • DR79 Combo stock
  • 50-round drum magazine

The Best Secondary Weapon to Compliment the STG44 in Call of Duty: Warzone

As you can tell by now, the STG44 is a heavy weapon that excels at medium to long ranges. Using the STG44 against SMGs will get you killed all the time, so picking a weapon that wrecks players at close ranges is necessary. Using a good Static HV build will get you out of most trouble if your movement is on point, so use the best build out there.

The Best Perks and Throwables to Use With the STG44

For throwables, I recommend you use Smoke Grenades and Semtex or Thermite. Semtex is great, but Thermite can deter players from rushing into a building or getting out of a room because it can do damage when you are close to it. Besides blocking a doorway or entry points, Thermite can stick to players and secure a kill.

For Perks, you can go with the Flex, Double Time, Quick Fix, and Mountaineer combo. These perks will help you with improved movement speed, health regeneration, fall damage reduction, and delay to triggered explosives.

If you think the STG44’s reload speed is too slow, equip the 40-round magazine or switch a perk for Sleight of Hand. Any of those options will give you the reload speed boost you need.
