Ulu is a 5-Star Support character with the Mineral element in Reverse 1999. As an embodiment of fire, she specializes in burn and is meant to be paired with Spathodea. However, how does she hold up on her own? Here’s the Best Ulu build in Reverse 1999.

Reverse 1999: Best Ulu Build

Ulu is a support character who has both healing and Burn properties in her attacks. She’ll mainly focus on buffs and debuffs while dealing passive damage through Burn.  

• Opening Ceremony – [Attack]1-Target attack. Deals 160% Mental DMG. This attack gains Penetration Rate +25% against targets inflicted with [Burn].
  • Level 2 – [Attack]1-Target attack. Deals 240% Mental DMG. This attack gains Penetration Rate +30% against targets inflicted with [Burn].
  • Level 3 – [Attack]1-Target attack. Deals 400% Mental DMG. This attack gains  Penetration Rate +35% against targets inflicted with [Burn].
• Beating Heart – [Attack]1-Target attack. Deals 400% Mental DMG. This attack gains Penetration Rate +35% against targets inflicted with [Burn].
  • Level 2 – [Debuff]Mass Attack. Deals 180% Mental DMG to 2 enemies and inflicts 2 stacks of [Burn].
  • Level 3 – [Debuff]Mass Attack. Deals 300% Mental DMG to 2 enemies and inflicts 3 stacks of [Burn].
• Indomitable Fire, Scorching Heart (Ultimate) – Mass Buff. All allies gain DMG Dealt +15% and DMG Taken -15% for 3 rounds. If enemies have 15 or more stacks of [Burn] in total, the DMG Dealt effect is doubled.

Best Psychube for Ulu in Reverse 1999

The best psychube for Ulu is “That Inquisitive Dear.” This increases the HP+ and the carrier’s ATK x24% for the ally with the lowest HP percentage when the user casts a debuff. Since Ulu will be using Beating Heart often, you’ll be able to get this boost throughout the battle. 

Best Team Comp for Ulu 

Ulu isn’t that versatile of a character and was designed to be paired with Spathodea since they both have burn abilities that work fantastic together. Since Ulu acts as a semi-healer, we can add Bkornblume as another support character. Both of these characters have great synergy with Spathodea and increase her attack and Burn DMG. 

How to Use Ulu in Reverse 1999 

Ulu acts as a healer and support specifically for Spathodea. However, they can deal decent damage on their own. You’ll always want to get off a Level 2 Beating Heart since this will activate the “That Inquisitive Dear” effect that will increase your attack. However, your main goal will be to use the Ultimate, Indomitable Fire, a mass buff that’ll help Spathodea take out enemies quickly.
