Why the Battle Pass Won’t Progress in MWZ Zombies Explained
If you’re confused about your Battle Pass progress in MWZ, you’re not alone. Dedicated Zombies fans are understandably expecting progress to be shared across all modes but aren’t seeing that come to fruition. Thankfully, Activision has definitively stated that all modes across Multiplayer and Zombies will count toward your overall progression in the Battle Pass. So why isn’t that reflected in the Battle Pass right now?

While you’ll make the most XP progress in Multiplayer, you can still earn XP from completing challenges and story missions CoD MWZ. If you’re encountering issues with your Battle Pass progress, it’s due to an in-game bug. Unfortunately, there’s no official fix for the bug yet, but the dev team has reported that they’re working on it via the MW3 Trello board. While there’s no patch date set in stone, we’d like to think it will be resolved by Season 1 with the new Battle Pass for MW3. Season 1 begins December 6, 2023.
When the bug is resolved, we can expect to earn consistent and accurate XP during Zombies mode. I know I find myself spending plenty of time in Uzbekistan, so it’d be great if that counted toward my cosmetics and flashy loot.
