To get a whole slew of new scenes and town interactions, you’ll want to romance the single villagers of Starlet Town. But there’s no reason to go on a blind date. Here are all the romanceable characters in Coral Island, how to start dating, and what they love.
Every Romance Option in Coral Island: All Loved Items Listed
There are 25 villagers looking for love in Starlet Town. As with most other simulation games like Coral Island, all of these dateable characters have items they love and items they hate. When looking at all the NPCs in the Relationship tab, the ones you can date will be labeled as Single. The hearts showing your relationship level will be a different color, as well.
Just like in real life, you can’t just start dating someone as soon as you meet them. First, you’ll have to get to know them and raise their Friendship score to eight hearts. If you want to marry your chosen partner, you’ll need to reach 10 hearts.
All of the loved items listed below are a work in progress and will be updated as I discover more of them.

Upcoming Merfolk Romance Options
Making the moves on Merfolk will be added to Coral Island in a large patch sometime after launch. Currently, we don’t know when that will be, but we do know the three candidates are:
- Semeru, Head of the Guard.
- Denali, Gatekeeper.
- Princess Miranjani.
Those are all the current romanceable characters in Coral Island. For more on how to get loved items, diving, or quest walkthroughs, check out our guides hub.
