Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty – Talent Academy Guide

Uncover the secrets of a nefarious corporation in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

The Talent Academy gig in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty becomes available a bit later in the expansion’s campaign. The job itself is somewhat disturbing, since it involves an exploitative corporation that gives kids cybernetic implants to turn them into super athletes. In this guide we’ll go over how to complete Talent Academy, including the potential deal with Fiona.

How to Complete Talent Academy in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

You can complete Talent Academy in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty by taking Fiona’s deal or by hacking her terminal. Here’s a quick summary:

  • This gig is unlocked halfway through the expansion’s campaign. You should see another icon appear on your map once it’s available.
  • The corporate office is filled with hostiles, but there are crawlspaces and well-hidden pathways that you can take to avoid detection.
  • Fiona will offer you a deal at the conclusion of the mission.

How to Reach Fiona’s Office

You can start this gig by heading to the marker in Terra Cognita in the southern portion of Dogtown. Once there, talk to Mr. Hands’ contact, who’ll give you access to the facility. As soon as you take the elevator down and speak with the receptionist, you’ll realize that something is amiss: you’re not welcome here. As such, all the guards will turn hostile if they spot you.

In my case, I opted for a stealthier approach. This entailed sneaking past the NPCs and switching the cameras to “Friendly Mode.” If I saw a terminal, I’d also made sure to disable the cameras. However, once I was finally detected, I went in with guns blazing. To be clear, you’re not required to finish this mission stealthily, so it’s really up to you how you want to approach it.

Should You Accept Fiona’s Deal

At the lower level of the facility, you’ll meet Tommie, a kid who’s been given cybernetic implants but wasn’t chosen for the team. You can console him if you want, which causes the manager, Fiona, to chime in.

You now have a couple of options:

  • Take Fiona’s deal — Fiona wants a “controlled leak,” perhaps as a way to save face and a little bit of damage control.
  • Refuse Fiona’s deal — If you want no part of this, simply interact with the terminal and upload the data.

Upon leaving the facility, a couple of vehicles will drive by, and several more goons will emerge. Eliminate them and wait for Mr. Hands’ call to finish the objective.

That’s it: that’s everything you need to know about how to complete Talent Academy in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
