Collecting Manifested Pages is one of the end goals of the Festival of the Lost in Destiny 2. Besides the loot grind, anyway. They’re not only essential to unlocking all the Event Challenges, but you’ll also need them to complete the Ghost Writer title. The lore hunters among you will also want them because many of the story bits are locked behind a massive board that requires hundreds of Manifested Pages to fully unlock. Let’s go over how to get Manifested Pages in Festival of the Lost 2023.
How to Farm Manifested Pages in Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost (2023)
There’s no direct way to farm Manifested Pages. Before you can get any, you need Spectral Pages, which you get by completing most activities throughout Destiny 2. Once you have some Spectral Pages, you need to go into the Haunted Lost Sector playlist and defeat the Headless Ones. Each one you defeat transforms Spectral Pages into Manifested ones.

Once you have Manifested Pages, you return to the Tower and visit the Book of the Forgotten near Eva. You can spend your Manisfested Pages to unlock Shrouded Pages there. Each Shrouded Page you unlock provides one of 33 Tales of the Forgotten, viewable in the Dusk and Dawn section of the Lore menu.
You’ll want to collect Manifested Pages, however, to complete the Bookworm Event Challenges for Festival of the Lost. Three rewards are available from three Bookworm levels, but only the third is worth anything: an Exotic Ship. You need to collect all 33 Tales of the Forgotten to claim the ship, the Nyxpteron, but on your way, you’ll earn 15,000 Glimmer for 11 Tales and the Magical Transformation Shader for 22 Tales.
Once you’ve completed the Book of the Forgotten and received the Exotic ship, there’s no more reason to go for Manifested Pages, though Spectral pages will probably still be useful. I’ve found that the reward chest at the end of a Haunted Lost Sector gives more loot the more Spectral Pages you manifest.
