With Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League focused on online multiplayer co-op, players are wondering whether the game supports cross-platform capabilities. This would extend the shelf life of the game and merge communities on console and PC. But does Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League have crossplay and cross progression?
Does Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League Support Crossplay?
While Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League can be played as a solo experience, the online co-op and crossplay are the main attractions. Yes, Rocksteady has officially confirmed that Suicide Squad Kills the Justice League supports crossplay. You can play cross-platform with players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and Series S. Of course, you must have respective accounts based on your platform, like a Steam or PSN account.
Furthermore, console users also need their respective platform subscriptions to play online co-op. This means you must have a PlayStation Plus membership on PS5 or a Game Pass Core membership on Xbox. PC users simply need their Steam account. There’s no third-party launcher to download.
Does Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League Have Cross Progression
Rocksteady has confirmed that Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League will also have cross-progression. This feature is available for online co-op players, though you’ll need two copies of the game to use it. It remains to be seen whether we’ll need to link our console accounts with Steam.
I love games that have cross-progression, allowing me to save and carry over my progress to another console or my computer. If I’m leveling Harley on my PC copy and want to switch to my PS5 (and kick up my feet), Harley’s stats, levels, and upgrades carry over to the console version, so I don’t have to start over from Level 1. Now all we need is the offline mode that’s coming post-launch, and we’re set.
