Fire’s Deadly Sin is a powerful, passive pyromancy in Elden Ring, wreathing the caster in flame and causing damage to both them and any enemies in close range. Finding its location takes a little legwork, but a significant clue is hidden on the first floor of the Fortified Manor in Leyndell, Royal Capital.
You’ll need to see the Flightless Bird painting near the Site of Grace in the Manor, which points to an area that looks up to a bridge leading into the Capital. In this Elden Ring guide, we’ll show you where in the world the painting points and where you’ll pick up Fire’s Deadly Sin.
Where to Find Fire’s Deadly Sin Incantation in Elden Ring
Start your journey to Fire’s Deadly Sin at the northernmost section of the Altus Plateau is the Windmill Village. There are three sets of Windmills at the west, north, and eastern portions of the smaller plateau where the village sits. You’ll see a small outcropping to the east of the three windmills on the map.
At the peak of that hill and through the village is a Godskin Apostle boss, which you’ll need to defeat for safe access to the overlook with Fire’s Deadly Sin.
Once the boss is dealt with, head to the southeastern portion of the outcropping. Three insane villagers will be dancing merrily around a fire pit.
Facing the house they’re near, go back and to the left. As you approach the cliff face, a yellow ghost in a chair will appear, point at the sky, then disappear.
If you look at the view he’s pointing to, you’ll notice it matches the painting exactly. When the ghost vanishes completely, he’ll leave behind Fire’s Deadly Sin.
