Nokron, Eternal City is a subterranean location in Elden Ring above Siofra River. It’s full of useful crafting materials and home to several other important items. Finding its location can be somewhat difficult, though, if you don’t know where to look. Like most everything else in From’s latest, there aren’t any signposts leading you to it.
This quick Elden Ring guide will tell you where to find Nokron, Eternal city in the Lands Between, and highlight some of the items and enemies you can find there.
Where to Find Nokron, Eternal City in Elden Ring
You’ll learn about Nokron, Eternal City from Blaidd, either when you meet him at Ranni’s Rise during Ranni’s questline or when you speak to him at Redmane Castle. You can learn more about when you first meet Blaidd and how to complete his questline in our full quest walkthrough guide here.
Regardless of when you learn about the hidden city, you won’t be able to access it until after you beat Starscourge Radahn. A meteor will strike the Lands Between after the battle, opening up the pathway to Nokron. Head to the area west of Fort Haight in east Limgrave, just south of the Mistwood, to find rocks and boulders floating above a giant crater.
Enter the crater from the northwestern side. Use your horse to follow the cliffs and platforms down, eventually arriving at what looks like a cave entrance Torrent cannot pass through. Continue forward to find yourself in a ruined palace. Follow the path down until you reach an archway that leads to a rooftop, entering the upper reaches of Nokron.
Continue down along the rooftops (be sure to go right and up before descending left to get a Rune Arc), fighting the blobs along the way. Eventually, you’ll face white corpses of fallen soldiers able to inflict normal and Frostbite damage. The first Site of Grace in Nokron is just beyond this point. Continue forward to enter Nokron, Eternal City proper.
Besides coming to Nokron because Blaidd mentioned it as an area of interest, you’ll want to journey through this location for several key items. There are four Larval Tears to be found here in the beginning portions of the area, which are used to respec your character stats.
Nokron is also where you’ll find the Mimic Tear, one of the most powerful Spirit Summons in Elden Ring despite its recent nerf. Still, it’s one that can carry you through some of the tougher boss fights in the mid- to late-game, including both versions of Mohg. Unlike other Spirits Ashes, this one creates a perfect replica of your character, down to the gear, weapons, and spells you have currently equipped.
Nokron, Eternal City is plentiful in Ghost Glovewort [3] and Ghost Glovewort [4], used to upgrade Spirit Summons, as well as Dewkissed Herba, a key ingredient in the Clarifying Boluses used to cure Madness.
The Regal Ancestor boss can be found in Nokron, as well. This is an “enhanced version” of the same boss faced in Siofra River and becomes available after lighting the flame pillars in the Ancestral Woods.
Finally, you’ll have to visit Nokron as part of Ranni’s questline to obtain the Fingerslayer Blade, an essential item needed to progress her storyline.
