Elder Scrolls Online: All Stone Atronach Locations

Complete the latest endeavour in Elder Scrolls Online patch 34, using our guide to all Stone Atronach locations.

Patch 34 for Elder Scrolls Online asks players to go on a Stone Atronach Endeavour and finish off five Stone Atronachs. These are extremely rare creatures, which can be found in very limited quantities and only at a few designated locations.

Our guide will provide you with tips on how to find all Stone Atronach locations in Elder Scrolls Online, including maps with exact markers. You will have to fight a few bosses as well, so be prepared for more than just Atronachs in this endeavor.

All Stone Atronach Locations in Elder Scrolls Online

Bloodroot Forge

You can find multiple Stone Atronachs in the Craglorn region, which is located in the northwestern part of the Hammerfell, between Cyrodiil and Bangkorai.

Bloodroot Forge is a dungeon in the southeastern part of Craglorn, between Haddock’s Market and Molavar. This dungeon was added in the Horns of the Reach DLC.

You can find the entrance to the dungeon high in the mountains of Jerall (indicated by the marker on the map above).

Once you reach the third boss of the dungeon, named Stoneheart, he summons multiple Stone Atronachs during the battle, which is a great opportunity for you to finish all five of them for your endeavor in the same spot.

Be aware of these Stone Atronachs, as their power grows in time. Focus on defeating them as soon as Stoneheart summons them. If you leave them unattended, they will become so strong that they can destroy your entire group.

Falkreath Hold

One more Stone Atronach can be found in the eastern part of the Craglorn region. Cross the bridge to the east from the Bienne farm market and enter the Falkreath Hold dungeon via the Cyrodiil Gate Garrison (indicated on the map above).

The final boss of the dungeon is Domihaus the Bloody-Horned, a minotaur creature, who belongs to the Dreadhorn clan. During battle, he will summon one Stone Atronach to assist him.

The summoning happens when the boss’ health drops to 80%, which is rather quick. At that point, he becomes immune to damage, so you will have no choice but to quickly kill the Stone Atronach to again deal damage to Domihaus.

Moongrave Fane

Another group of Stone Atronachs can be found in the Northern Elsweyr region, which is located in the southern part of the Tamriel, between Reaper’s March and Blackwood. It is the home of the Khajiit.

In the southwestern part of Northern Elsweyr, you will find the Moongrave Fane dungeon, which is a part of the Scalebreaker DLC.

The entrance to the dungeon is between the Valenwood Gate and Moon Gate of Anequina (indicated on the map above). You will find several Stone Atronachs inside the Moongrave Fane dungeon, which serve the Hollowfang clan of vampiric Khajiit.

In front of the main temple, you will meet Risen Ruins, a Stone Atronach boss, who provokes rockslides and earthquakes and throws boulders. You can easily defeat this Stone Atronach by casting Hemo Helot blood orbs, using the Sangiin Sacrifice synergy.

Aetherian Archive

For the final Stone Atronach, go back to Craglorn, and enter the Aetherian Archive tower, located north of the Falkreath Hold dungeon. This tower is near the city of Elinthir (see the marker above).

You will meet a unique Foundation Stone Atronach, who is much bigger than the ones you’ve met before. This Stone Stronach also serves as the second boss of the tower.

This boss has only two types of attacks, but both of them work like AoE and deal a lot of damage. So try to bring a lot of healing items to this fight, and spread out across the arena to mitigate the damage from the falling rocks.
