Fae Farm has a few unique biomes to discover, one of which is the snowcapped Mountains in the northwest. You’ll discover new materials in the region, and to little surprise, snowflakes are one of them. However, obtaining these wonderful little items is unclear. Here’s how to get Snowflakes in Fae Farm.
How to Get Snowflakes in Fae Farm
To get Snowflakes in Fae Farm, you’ll need to first and foremost craft a Mountain Critter Conservatory. Your tools must be fully upgraded to Silver before you can harvest the Mountain materials needed to craft Critter Conservatory. We’ve got a full guide on upgrading tools here.
The Mountain Critter Conservatory is capable of turning critters from the region into resources, and that’s exactly how you’ll get Snowflakes — much like the Fae Critter Conservatory and Lowlands Critter Conservatory. Here are the critters that provide Snowflakes in Fae Farm.
- Frost Root
- This unique Root creature will only appear at night in the Mountain region.
- Snow Crabs
- Available immediately in the Mountain region.
- White Dragonfly
- Available after eliminating the Blizzard in the Mountain region.
To catch these animals, you’ll need to upgrade your Net. I recommend upgrading to a Master Critter Net. To do so, you’ll need to visit Mel, the beekeeper, and purchase one for 5,000 Florins. You’ll also need to reach Critter Catching Level 7 and have purchased the previous Advanced Critter Net tier.
Additionally, the higher your Critter Catching Level is, the more Luck you’ll have. Having increased Luck will grant you additional material drops, so you can catch a Critter and receive a Snowflake without using the Mountain Critter Conservatory.
Well, that’s all there is to know about how to get snowflakes in Fae Farm. Check out our growing Fae Farm guides hub for more tips, tricks, and walkthroughs.
