Fallout 76 Guide: How to Gather Personal Effects for Craig

Here's how to Gather Personal Effects for Craig in Fallout 76.

One of the first quests you’ll encounter in the Skyline Valley region is finding settlers for an NPC named Craig. Once found, he’ll also ask you to gather their personal effects and return them to him. However, Fallout 76 doesn’t mark where you can find these personal effects, making them hard to find in Skyline Valley’s dark environment. The personal effects that Craig wants you to gather for him belong to the poor settlers whom he tasked you with laying flares to mark their location. These personnel effects will be close to their corpses but hidden enough to make them hard to find.

Miles is the first settler you’ll come across when completing this mission. You’ll find him at the top of Makeout Point by going to the quest zone marker on your map. His effect is a cowboy hat at the bottom of the cliff, and you’ll find it directly in front of his corpse. If you climb over the rope that his corpse is draped over and walk to the edge, you should be able to see it when looking down.

After finding Mile’s body and personal effects, you’ll find a new quest zone marker on your Fallout 76 map. Head there, and you’ll find a tunnel inside the mountain. First, Rob’s body is on the other side of the barrier before heading into the tunnel. Then, head about halfway into the tunnel, and you’ll find his journal sitting on the ground in front of a wooden board with white lettering painted on it.

Where to Find Rebecca’s Personal Effects

The third Settler you must find is Rebecca, and she met the grimmest fate of them all. Unfortunately, all you’ll see is a big pool of blood, where you’ll light the flare. Her personal effects are holotags, which you can find at the stone gate entrance to Dark Hollow Manor. When facing the entrance, you’ll find a corpse slumped against one of the stone columns. You’ll find the holotags sitting on the ground next to the corpse’s right hand.
