How to Get the Colorful Carrotsol in FFXIV

While getting it isn’t overly difficult, you need to be max level and at a point where you can access the Island Sanctuary.

The Island Sanctuary uses two currencies: Seafarer’s Cowries and Islander’s Cowries. You earn both types through completing activities on your Island Sanctuary, and for the Colorful Carrotsol, you need 6000 Seafarer’s Cowries, which are easier and faster to gather compared to the Islander’s Cowries. 

Earn Seafarer’s Cowries

If you’re new to the Island Sanctuary, the best way to earn this type is through the Workshop. Set it up to run for a few days, and you can make Cowries passively, picking them up when you check on the Workshop. Since you gather the resources for the Workshop yourself, make sure you have the amounts needed to fulfill the production schedule you set.

Speak with the Horrendous Hoarder

Once you have 6000 Seafarer’s Cowries, head into your Cozy Cabin. Speak with the Horrendous Hoarder Mammet and select the Exclusive Items option. Then, scroll down to find the Colorful Carrotsol on the list and click to purchase it. After that, you can protect yourself from UV light and rain with a parasol that every Loporrit would want.
