FFXIV Make It Rain Campaign 2023 Guide

The Make It Rain campaign is now live in Final Fantasy XIV, and this guide will help you get this year’s event reward. Our friend Kipih Jakkya is looking for a big scoop for her next article, and the Warrior of Light is just the person she needs. It’s time to head to the Gold Saucer and enjoy the festivities.

FFXIV: How to Complete the Make It Rain 2023

• You must be level 15 or higher and have completed the Envoy MSQs available around that level range.
• Initiate the quest by speaking with Kipih Jakkya in Ul’dah – Steps of Nald at (X:9.4, Y:9.2) to accept the quest “A Golden Opportunity.”
• The event runs from June 30 through July 17.

Once you grab the quest from this plucky Miqo’te, you’ll have to head to the Gold Saucer and speak with her again. This time she’s in the Entrance Square at (X:5.4, Y:7.0).

After you meet with Kipih, you’ll be sent on a hunt for two Godbert mammets that are hidden in the Gold Saucer. You’re assigned to grab them from Wonder Square and Round Square. I find it easy to get lost in the Gold Saucer, so I used the Aethernet to head to Wonder Square first.

The mammets have quest icons over their heads, so they aren’t too hard to find. The Wonder Square mammet is on the second floor at (X:5.9, Y:6.9) near the Wonder Square West Aetheryte.

Then it’s off to Round Square! This mammet is standing on top of a light at (X:4.9, Y:5.1).

After you grab it, return to Entrance Square where you started to turn in the quest to Ollier. Speak to Ollier again for the quest “Hearts of Gold.”

When you accept “Hearts of Gold,” you’ll view a cutscene and then go on a tour of the Gold Saucer. This is done through cutscenes, so you don’t need to worry about chasing after Godbert. When the tour is over, speak with Ollier again to receive your Godbert Minion.

But the event doesn’t have to end there. For its duration, you’ll earn extra MGP from games at the Gold Saucer. Additionally, you can purchase some previous event items from the Campaign Attendant in Entrance Square (X:5.4, Y:6.3). All items are purchased with MGP.
