How to Use Eureka in For the King 2

Eureka becomes available with the Deep Thinker trait, which you can choose when creating a new character or unlock during gameplay for an already existing character. You can unlock the Deep Thinker trait by using 8+ Focus in a single turn on the overworld. Once unlocked, this trait will provide you with the following bonuses:

  • +1 Focus
  • Skill: Eureka

Once you have the Eureka skill, you will notice that it makes each level completely fill up the focus bar. Why is this important? The more Focus points you can spend in a turn, the higher the chance you get to roll any skill or combat check and unlock even more free movement spaces for your characters in the overworld.

I like to think of it as some sort of divine intervention that pulls the strings in your favor. Of course, you still need to consider spending every focus point carefully, as they’re not infinite even with the Eureka skill. But you should also know that the Focus bar regenerates naturally in time on its own, so if you’re ready to wait, you’ll always have more of those to spend.

Lastly, if you really need more Focus points as soon as possible, then you can also speed up the Focus regeneration time by doing the following:

  • Meditate in town.
  • Meditate in camp.
  • Use Golden Root.
