Fortnite‘s Season 1, Week 3 challenges include a ton of different tasks. One of them requires you summit the highest mountain in the game with Journey Outfit. Thankfully, the highest mountain isn’t all that difficult to find. In fact, you may have already come close to the summit when completing this week’s dance challenge.
Below, we’ve included the mountain’s location, as well as a map leading you directly to it so you can quickly complete the Alter Ego quest challenge. We’ve also included how to get the Journey Outfit if you haven’t already done so.
How to Summit the Highest Mountain in Fortnite
The highest mountain in Fortnite is located in the southeastern portion of the map. In fact, it’s very, very close to the Weather Station, in the snowy portion outlined in the map below.
If you land at the Weather Station, the mountain is directly to the left of the Weather Station.
For another frame of reference, it’s the snowy mountains to the southeast of Retail Row and east of Misty Meadows. If you zoom in on the map in-game, it’s along the black part of the mountain range that snakes down toward the southern coastline.
You’ll complete the challenge as soon as you touch down on the mountain, as long as you’re wearing the Journey Outfit when you do so.
How to Get the Journey Outfit in Fortnite
The Journey vs Hazard outfit is even easier to get than the challenge above is to complete. Why? Because you get the Journey Outfit as part of the Season 1 Battle Pass. You unlock a variant of the outfit after you complete the Alter Ego challenge.
Simply put this outfit on before you hop into a match, and the challenge will complete when you land on the summit of the mountain.
The premium version of the Season 1 Battle Pass costs $9.50 (950 V-Bucks). There is also a version that costs $28 (2,800 V-Bucks) and lets you unlock the first 25 tiers of the pass. There are 100 total tiers.
