Mualani is a brand-new 5-star character introduced in the Natlan update of Genshin Impact. She’s a very powerful hero who can easily be your main DPS character due to her elemental skills. The best artifact set for Mualani, in my opinion, is the Obsidian Codex, since it’s been specifically designed for this hero. It increases Mualani’s critical hit rate by 40% when she consumes a Nightsoul stack. This maximizes her damage output, allowing her to consistently trigger high critical hit rates, which is crucial for her role as the main DPS.
But the other two sets are also very good. For example, the Heart of Depth provides a 15% Hydro damage bonus and increases normal and charged attack damage by 30%. While the Gilded Dreams increases her Elemental Mastery, which can be beneficial for triggering elemental reactions, especially when paired with Pyro characters.

Just like the Obsidian Codex set, the Surf’s Up weapon’s been specifically designed for Mualani.
