This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

As with most any ARPG, Genshin Impact involves buying lots of items from lots of vendor shops. One of the first merchants you’ll find is Marjorie, who owns the Souvenir Shop. This is where you can buy gold, Sliver, weapon ascension materials, and more.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to find the Souvenir Shop and go through all the items you can buy there, including their prices. We’ll also offer tips for getting more Anemo Sigils, and what items to prioritize first.

How to Gain Access to the Souvenir Shop

To make purchases at the Souvenir Shop, you’ll need to complete the first hour (approximately) of the game and get past Prologue: Act I.

Once you get past that point in Genshin Impact, you’ll be able to find Marjorie, the Souvenir Shop owner in Mondstadt. It’s marked on your map as a diamond and is found on the eastern side of the city. Do note that Marjorie has a limited number of items available.

Items Available in the Souvenir Shop

Below is a list of the available items in the Souvenir Shop, including their prices in Anemo Sigils, one of Genshin Impact‘s forms of currency.

  • Agnidus Agate Sliver (10 Anemo Sigils)
  • Varunada Lazurite Sliver (10 Anemo Sigils)
  • Vayuda Turquoise Sliver (10 Anemo Sigils)
  • Shivada Jade Sliver (10 Anemo Sigils)
  • Prithiva Topaz Sliver (10 Anemo Sigils)

How to get Anemo Sigils

Keep in mind that the Anemo Sigil currency is different than gold. You gain access to Anemo Sigils by opening chests around Mondstadt and as rewards from Statue of the Seven structures found across Teyvat.

Recommended Purchases Early On

None of the items available in the Souvenir Shop are bad, but knowing which to focus on will certainly give you a leg up when starting out.

Gold and Slivers

Buying gold is never a bad option, as you’ll need gold to buy pretty much everything else from other vendors.

The other main group of items to consider is the Souvenir Shop’s various Slivers, which are used for character ascension. The element associated with a particular party member will determine which Sliver is used.

For example, Amber uses Pyro, so she’ll need an Agnidus Agate Sliver for character ascension. Figure out what you want your party to look like before spending your hard-earned Anemo Sigils on Slivers, as they are a tad pricey (at least at the start).

Weapon Ascension Materials

Your party members will also determine which weapon ascension materials you’ll need  such as the Tile of Decarabian’s Tower  which can be used to craft the Debris of Decarabian’s Tower, for example. It’s best to solidify your party first before buying those items at the Souvenir Shop.

Don’t focus on the Souvenir Shop’s expensive items

The final point is to not get too focused on the more expensive items  the Memory of Roving Gales and the Northlander Sword Prototype  at least not at first. These are used for forging powerful weapons, but at the start of the game, you should be experimenting with various party members and weapons, so it’s best to wait on these items.

And with that, you should be more familiar with how to use the Souvenir Shop in Genshin Impact. Things can get complicated with all the different merchants available to you, but once you learn about the game’s currencies and what each store has to offer, it’s a lot more manageable.
