The Steinbjorn armor is considered one of the best armor sets in God of War: Ragnarok. To craft the set, you will need to obtain four Slumber Stones, which can be obtained only by slaying Trolls.
This guide will show you all troll locations in God of War: Ragnarok and include tips on how to summon them.
How to Get the Mystical Heirloom Relic
Before you can defeat the Trolls, you need to find the Mystical Heirloom relic required to summon them.
You can find the Mystical Heirloom next to the Tyr’s Temple in Midgard. Go to the spot indicated on the map above and destroy a snow wall in front of you. This will reveal a secret passage. Enter the passage, and pick up the Mystical Heirloom from the dead body on the ground.
Troll Location #1
The first Troll statue can be found at the outer wall of The Derelict Outpost in Midgard. Approach the statue, equip the Mystical Heirloom relic, and press L1 + Circle to summon the Troll.
You can defeat the Troll using the Draupnir Spear. Once it’s dead, you will be rewarded with the first Slumber Stone.
Troll Locations #2-3
Two other Troll Statues can be found just outside Noatun’s Garden in Vanaheim. You’ll have a tough fight on your hands between both Trolls. At the end of the fight, each will drop a Slumber Stone, which should be your second and third.
Troll Location #4
The fourth and final Troll statue can be located at the edge of the cliff in The Forbidden Sands of Alfheim. When this final Troll is dead, you can take all four Slumber Stones and visit a blacksmith to craft a full Steinbjorn armor set for you.
