BitLife: How to Become a Secret Agent and Run an Agency

After purchasing the Secret Agent expansion, you gain access to new options and activities related to starting an agency. To be successful, you need a cover business, spy gadgets, decent performance levels, and—of course—agents working for you. And all that means you also need a lot of money before getting started since buying a cover business with a good location costs millions.

To get started, go to Activities > Secret Agent and purchase a business to act as your front and headquarters. You might change it later in the same menu after you have more money, resources, and agents to work with. After you buy your cover business, you choose a name for your spy agency and a codename for yourself. From here, the full menu of Secret Agent activities opens up.

Now that you’re a secret agent, your core menu items in Activities > Secret Agent are: Agents, Agent Recruitment, Infiltrate, Missions, Security, and Spy Gadgets. Missions aren’t available until you recruit at least one agent and have a level-one Spy Gadget. From there, you go into Missions, pick an option, and send an agent with matching skills to complete it. Another option is stealing missions from other agencies in the Infiltrate menu, where you also have the option to try poaching agents from those agencies.

Once you recruit agents, you can go into Activities > Secret Agent > Agents to train them and improve their performance, increasing success rates for missions. Buying gadgets for any event also helps keep you agents at the top of their game, helping them complete their missions. Meanwhile, Security options help your cover stay safe, which also protects your agents and information.

While there are other options in the Secret Agent menu, those are the activities that you use the most. The rest are simply for actions like changing your codename or purchasing a new cover business.

That covers how to become a Secret Agent in BitLife, but it takes time to get the hang of running a successful agency. Especially when a mission can go wrong simply by choosing the wrong answer in a pop-up window.
