If you’re wondering how long the narrative puzzle game Indika is, have no fear. We’ve played through the whole thing and can share how much time you’ll need to invest for your playthrough. This is how long Indika is.
Indika Total Playtime
Indika is a set story that follows the adventure of a nun outside the nunnery. There are no real side quests, though you can find different iconography and items as you travel. There are areas to explore and things to interact with, but the narrative is what drives the game.
This comes with multiple puzzles, compromising most of the gaming portion of the title. They can be simple or complex, taking various amounts of time to solve. Some of them are made more difficult due to low lighting, even with Indika’s lamp burning. Working through these can add time to your playthrough.
While I got stuck on some of the platforming elements and a puzzle here and there, I finished Indika in five hours. This was a normal playthrough, so you could complete the full thing in four to five hours if you ran through all the scenes and solved the puzzles quickly.
There are multiple achievements that can be earned by exploring every nook and cranny. Trying to obtain all the achievements will increase the time to six or seven hours, depending on how in-depth you look and how good you are at puzzles or platformers. You may even have to do a second playthrough.
Whether you plan to fully explore Indika‘s world or simply progress straight to the end of the story, the title can be finished within one day. This makes it perfect for those with limited play time or those looking to start and finish a game relatively easily.
That’s how long Indika is as a five-hour narrative journey through the frozen land of an alternative Russia. For more on the title, check out our full Indika review.
