Designing your own car is one of the most fun aspects of Rocket League. You have a ton of customization options, from the car body to a hat, and everything in between.
So today I want to show you how to create 5 awesome vehicles in Rocket League. Each of these designs are ones I have personally created and thought were really cool. So why not share the designs and who knows, maybe I’ll meet some of you on the pitch!
Devil Truck
The Devil Truck was probably the first car I created in the game that I really thought was awesome. I stuck with it for longer than I do most other designs. I think the corroded metal paint design, coupled with the fire and evil fittings make this truck look pretty badass.
Body: Road Hog
Decal: Flames
Paint: Darkest purple & 2nd to last red (Both Corroded Metal)
Darkest red & 2nd to last black (Both Corroded Metal)
Wheels: Servergate
Rocket Trail: Nitrous
Topper: Devil Horns
Antenna: Skull
Mexican Maestro
I like this design because it’s fun and the most fitting with soccer. However it’s with designs like this that I wish the blue colour could also be green, I mean with the orange team you can have yellow, red and pink, but blue is just blue. Regardless this is a fun design that shows off the wackiness of the game.
Body: Venom
Decal: Wings
Paint: Bottom row, 1st column blue (matte) & 4th row orange (brushed metal)
Middle row, 3rd column orange (matte) & 7th column, 2nd row green (brushed metal)
Wheels: Spinner
Rocket Trail: Confetti
Topper: Sombrero
Antenna: Soccer Ball
Wizard World
Have you ever wanted to own a car that looked like it was owned by Dumbledore? Well look no further! I love how quirky this design is and it’s a really great one because you could easily switch the Wizard Hat for the Witches Hat, or the Star for the Lightning Bolt or UFO and it still looks awesome!
Body: Paladin
Decal: Stars
Paint: 3rd column, bottom row blue (Metallic) & 5th column, 2nd row yellow (Metallic Pearl)
1st column, 1st row yellow (Metallic) & 10th column, 3rd row blue (Metallic)
Wheels: Sunburst
Rocket Trail: Sacred
Topper: Wizard Hat
Antenna: Star
Slime Machine
We’re friends, right? So, I’ll be honest with you. I accidentally came across this design when I was trying to create the Ninja Turtles van. The van looks the same, the slime seemed perfect but again the problem is not being able to have green as a main colour. However the end design is a silly one that I enjoy playing with. I so rarely see the slime being used online, so make yourself stand out and embrace the slime!
Body: Merc
Decal: Wings
Paint: 3rd column, 1st row blue (Glossy) & 6th column, 4th row green (wood)
1st column, 1st row yellow (Glossy) & 6th column, 4th row green (wood)
Wheels: Alchemist
Rocket Trail: Slime
Topper: Propellerhead
Antenna: Smiley
Mr. Moneybags
Much like the Devil Truck, this was one of my earliest creations and one I’m still very fond of. For some reason I’ve always thought the Backfire body type looked kind of regal or rich. Add on the Wheels, Topper and Antenna and you have yourself a pretty fancy automobile! Honestly, I could so easily see the Monopoly Man hop out of it at any second.
Body: Backfire
Decal: N/A
Paint: 3rd column, 1st row blue (Metallic Pearl)
4th column, 2nd row red (Carbon Fiber)
Wheels: Lucci
Rocket Trail: Money
Topper: Top Hat
Antenna: Dollar Sign
So there you have it, 5 of my favourite Rocket League car designs. Feel free to use them as your own or make them even better. If you like the designs let me know in the comments and I will happily make some more.
