How to Get Dark Seducer Armor in Skyrim (& Mod It)

Collect this iconic Shivering Isles armor set right in Skyrim!

There are plenty of armor types to collect in Skyrim, but one of the coolest sets is a reference to the Oblivion DLC, Shivering Isles. This Dark Seducer armor is a part of the Saints and Seducer’s Creation Club add-on, and here’s how you can get it and change its appearance to your liking.

Where to Get Dark Seducer Armor in Skyrim

The Dark Seducer armor is a special addition to Skyrim, along with the Saints and Seducer’s Creation Club pack. You get the pack along with Skyrim Anniversary Edition, but you’ll need to ensure you download it first.

Check within your Creations menu via the main menu. Make sure it’s downloaded so you can add it to your current game. You won’t be able to start the quest or find the armor without downloading it first. Once you do, you’ll need to begin the questline, “A Balance of Power.” To do this, head to the Whiterun Stables and look for the traveling trader and Khajiit, Ri’Saad.

How to Start “A Balance of Power” Quest

Ri’Saad and his fellow Khajiits camp right outside the Whiterun gates. If they’re there, you will spot their tents immediately, directly across from the stables. If they aren’t there, you can also fast travel to Markarth and check by the river outside the city. They travel between the two places and are usually at either. You could also use the wait feature to pass by some time and see if they show up.

I found Ri’Saad camped out of Whiterun, and he usually sits right at the entrance of his tent. Speak to him and ask about ‘trouble along the road.’ He will give you a note that will trigger the next part of the quest. You’ll find it in your Items menu under Books. Once you read it, you will have markers for two different camps: the Seducers bandit camp and the Saints bandit camp.

Where to Find the Seducer’s Bandit Camp

The Saints camp is closer to your current location, but since we’re looking for the Dark Seducer armor, we’ll want to fast travel to Windhelm and head northwest.

You can follow the quest marker all the way up into the snowy mountains near Windhelm to the camp. However, make sure you’re prepared before arriving. You’ll have to face two to three bandits, including a Bandit Leader. They won’t be easy for lower-level characters.

Once you’ve defeated them, check each body for armor pieces and Seducer weapons. Each has boots, gauntlets, and helmets. But also check around their camp. The chest had full armor, allowing me to complete my set. If you don’t happen to find the whole set, continue the questline by reading the Bandit Leader’s journal, activating the next quest. You’ll have to visit more camps similar to this one, where you’ll have the chance to pick up more pieces.

It’s classified as a Light Armor Set, and for good reason, since it’s one of the more revealing armor sets (especially for female characters). Here’s a look at the stats it can give you:

Best Dark Seducer Armor Mods

If you don’t like the way the Dark Seducer Armor looks, there are always mods to change it up. Here are some of the best ones I’ve come across:

Dark Seducer Male Armor Replacer

The Dark Seducer Male Armor Replacer mod, by deleted65781631, fixes the lackluster Dark Seducers of the male variation. Instead, it looks more like a unique set of elvish-styled armor in its iconic sleek black color. The helmet looks more masculine and covers the entire face.

Practical Female Dark Seducer Armor

Let’s be honest: the female version of the Dark Seducer Armor isn’t going to protect them at all in battle. This mod, by Dragoon23, reimagines the set with all its charm but is fully practical. You choose from several variations, with differing pauldrons and helmets compatible with other species.

Now that you have the armor, you can venture around Skyrim in style and have some decent protection. Other mods out there complete the look as well, giving you Saint and Seducer character presets or even allowing playable races. It’ll be a blast back to Oblivion for you!
