You may have wandered around looking for a way to obtain Stone Block for your base or the new weapon you want to build. However, it’s acquired slightly differently than some other crafting materials. Here’s how to get Stone Block in Nightingale.
Where to Find Stone Block in Nightingale
There are two methods of obtaining Stone Block in the realms. The first is to mine it with any level pickaxe. The second is to break down damaged walls in ruins.
Where to Mine Stone Blocks
When thinking of the words Stone Block, I imagined a processed bit of stone in a brick shape. This is not the case in Nightingale. In the Faewild, Stone Block comes from mining rocks.
The fastest way to farm Stone Block is to find a river bed or rock outcropping. I consistently find the largest rocks that give you Stone Block in those areas. Look for the medium-sized boulders that trigger the green pickaxe when you hover over them.
Hit these in the center to break them down into x3 Stone Blocks. Sometimes, you’ll need to hit the boulder again, but no matter what, you only receive three blocks per outcropping. Mining other rock types, like those containing Quartz or Tin Ore, doesn’t produce Stone Block. Similar to Palworld, each stone only produces one resource.
If you haven’t unlocked uses for those materials yet, they’ll only take up backpack space during this time. I extract their essence so I have more room for Stone Block without getting encumbered.
How to Destroy Damaged Walls for Stone Block
You may have gone through some ruins already and seen walls with cracks in them. These walls can be broken down into their base material with any pickaxe. They can take a couple of hits to destroy, but will crumble down to x3 Stone Block.
While this isn’t the most efficient method for getting Stone Block, I always stop to see if there are any damaged walls I can destroy. Sometimes, you’ll find a hidden room with a Fae Chest behind it. Most of the time, the walls are just supports, and now you have a new opening to go through when running around. I find it’s always good to take a minute to check.
That’s how to get Stone Block in Nightingale. An essential material for crafting tools, weapons, and your base, it’s easy to stock up on once you know what type of rock to mine. For more help, check out our guides hub.
