No one likes losing their progress, much less in a game where you spend so much time building and getting comfortable in a base. There’s a way to take no base damage. Here’s how to make your base invincible in Palworld.
How to Disable Structural Damage and Make Your Base Invincible in Palworld
More than just raids can cause damage to your structures in Palworld. While raids can do heavy damage to your base, wild Pals can also charge into your structures and damage them (before your Pals murder them with a vengeance). Any structures you place outside the bounds of your Palbox deteriorate over time, so there are a few ways for things to go wrong.
There’s one surefire setting to disable raids entirely if you’re tired of dealing with them. However, this won’t stop structural deterioration out of bounds. You probably don’t want to turn them off if you actually like getting raided for the materials.
World Settings to Disable Structural Deterioration and Damage
To do all this, go to your world’s custom settings:
- Select the world you want to adjust in the World Select screen, but don’t enter it.
- Select “Change World Settings” at the bottom of the screen.
- Select “Custom Settings” next to “Custom Difficulty”
- Scroll about halfway down to seek out the following settings:
- Damage to Structure Multiplier
- Structure Deterioration Rate
- Set both to 0.
The Damage to Structure Multiplier setting affects how much damage structures take when hit. This means raids, wild Pals, and players alike can’t destroy structures by attacking them. Structure Deterioration Rate dictates how quickly your structures deteriorate and must be repaired. This one’s not mandatory unless you want to build outside the bounds of your Palboxes, which you may just want to do.
Now you know how to make your base invincible in Palworld. Just two settings turned down, and you’re all set for a comfy time. No more worrying about whether your base will be intact the next time you play. You’re out of luck here if you’re playing on a public server, unless its settings are configured this way.
