How to Mine RubySilver and Cobalt Ore in Dark and Darker

Dark and Darker has its fair share of quests. The Armorer will ask you to turn in RubySilver Ore and Cobalt Ore for rewards. However, tracking down the nodes proves itself tough, so you’ll want to know how to find them, or you’ll end up on a wild goose chase. Find out all you need to know about how to mine them here.

How to Mine RubySilver and Cobalt Ore in Dark and Darker

While the main objective in Dark and Darker is to loot chests and make it out alive, you can also seek out tougher materials like Ore. To mine any Ore nodes, you’ll need a Pickaxe. You can either get lucky and find one in a match or simply purchase a Pickaxe from the Woodsman merchant for a measly 20 gold. Once you’ve got a pickaxe, equip it to your person before diving into a match and use it like you would any tool against an Ore node. But the question remains — Where do you find Rubysilver and Cobalt Ore?

Cobalt can be found in the Goblin Caves and spawns randomly. I’ve found it in the center of the map and hidden behind chests or barrels throughout the edges of the map. It’ll always spawn regardless, and it’s just a matter of finding it. So, use your torch to check against the walls before moving on to the more contentious center of the map.

RubySilver is a bit more challenging to track down because you’ll need to head to the Inferno map. You can get there through red portals or staircases on the various maps. Inferno maps have a higher difficulty, so you’ll want to be prepared to face more challenging enemies when seeking out RubySilver.
