The sussiest game on the planet has received a new April Fools mode for 2024, and you could use its limited availability to have some fun, even if you abstained from playing Among Us for a while. Here’s how to play the April Fools Mode in Among Us in 2024.
What is the Among Us April Fools Mode in 2024?
When you start searching for games online in Among Us, you will see a yellow bar that asks you to choose whether you want to play the April Fools’ Mode or not. It is between the options and the list of lobbies; you can’t miss it.
However, it does indicate that the mode will have some limited cosmetics, so do not be surprised if your favorite outfit cannot be used in this mode.
When you get in the lobby, you’ll notice that you have all basically become giraffes. Your necks will be pretty long, which may be an issue. You might be seen “over the wall” while venting as an Impostor.
The killing animation is new as well, and it’s somewhat funny, but I do not want to spoil it for you.
Can You Still Play Inverted “The Skeld” (Dleks eht) in Among Us in 2024?
In the old, old days of Among Us, the April Fools’ joke was the inverted map “The Skeld” which was funnily named “Dleks eht” which was complete chaos whenever my friends and I played it. There was a possibility to play this game mode whenever you wanted by having the host set their Windows time to April 1st of any year and then restarting their game before hosting The Skeld again.
Nowadays, it seems that this joke has been phased out, and I can’t seem to be able to play the mirrored Skeld again.
