How to Solve the Eurac V Lab Puzzle in Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader

Here's how to solve the Eurac V puzzle in Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader.

While exploring the Novis Nabilitae station on Eurac V, you’ll find an item puzzle in one of the labs. The combination is based on a chemical description found nearby, which can be confusing. Here’s how to solve the puzzle on Eurac V in Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader.

The Eurac V puzzle solution items are found seamlessly by pursuing the “fixing the Elevator Master Rod” quest assigned by Felek. Once you reach the end of the level and interact with the Machine Spirit computer, you’ll be able to access a function that opens all doors. This will open the massive door in the initial combat encounter room. If you fail the puzzle, you can’t retry it without reloading to a previous save, so be sure to save your game.

Where to Find All of the Lab Puzzle Ingredients

Essentially, you’ll gather all the necessary ingredients for the puzzle naturally. I just recommend opening up all lootable chests in the level, which are quite easy to spot. That said, I would focus mostly on the first room behind the recently opened massive door in detail as this is where the crucial ingredient items like the three regents are found. From here, simply open the last door in that room and descend down the stairs to the lab.

In the lab, you’ll see four item containers for the puzzle, a station to repair the Master Rod for the quest, and a Transducer to refine materials into dust. Furthermore, there will be a notebook to the right of the four containers containing a cryptic description of how the puzzle is supposed to work. However, the vague instructions mean that can fail your puzzle.

Eurac V Puzzle Combination 1 and Reward

There are two possible combinations each yielding a different item. The combination is:

  • Tissue Flask: Mutated Flesh Sample.
  • Data-crypt: Data-Crypt H-41-OK.
  • Catalyst Flask: Crystal Dust (You get this by putting Psi Crystals into the Transducer).
  • Reagent Flash: Biogel.

Simply assign all of these items to their appropriate containers and hit the final interact button; then you can pick up your reward to the right of the containers. The reward is six stacks of a consumable item that makes you immune to Toxic damage.

The second possible combination is:

  • Tissue Flask: Flesh Sample.
  • Data-crypt: Data-Crypt K-04-OH.
  • Catalyst Flask: Adamantium Dust (You get this by putting Adamantium into the Transducer).
  • Reagent Flash: Acid.

Fire up the experiment as before, and this combination will get you six stacks of a consumable that boosts your defenses against Warp damage.

Neither consumable item is crucial or particularly game-breaking, but they’re useful against certain types of enemies. For example, I found the toxic-resistance one neat against enemies like Chaos Spawn, who spew acid on your characters. Either way, that’s how to solve the puzzle on Eurac V in Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader.
