Now in Early Access, is Disney Speedstorm free to play, or are you going to need to spend money to enter the racetrack?

Another Disney game has officially entered its Early Access period, but is Disney Speedstorm free to play? This game brings Disney into the racing genre with maps themed after different movies and featuring remixed soundtracks that give classic Disney songs a modern, up-beat makeover. But will it break your bank?

Is Disney Speedstorm Free to Play?

In a way, the answer is both yes and no.

Right now, Disney Speedstorm is not free to play. If you want to enter the Early Access period, you’ll need to buy one of the Founder’s Packs which will run you anywhere from $29.99 USD to $69.99 USD.

However, the game will be free to play when it fully launches. The date for Disney Speedstorm‘s release is not yet known, so you could be waiting a while until F2P launch.

This set-up is the same as Disney Dreamlight Valley, which must be purchased to play during Early Access, but it will be free to play when released. While both games come with bonuses if you buy a Founder’s Pack, it might not be worth the money for every player.

Disney Speedstorm entered Early Access on April 18 and will be free to play in time, and we’ll be adding content for the game until then and beyond. Until then, you can check out some of our Minecraft Legends pieces or head over to our Disney Dreamlight Valley page for more Disney-related goodness.
