My Hero Ultra Rumble has landed on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One to offer MHA fans a chance to duke it out battle-royale-style. If you’re trying to play MHUR with friends, you might want to know whether the game has crossplay if you prefer to play on different platforms. We’ll go into the My Hero Ultra Rumble crossplay situation in this guide.
Is My Hero Ultra Rumble Crossplay?
My Hero Ultra Rumble lets you duke it out against 24 players at once, or even a little fewer with bots to reach the 24-player count to start. But none of the players in a single match will be on different platforms.
If you were hoping to play with friends on different platforms, you’re unfortunately out of luck. My Hero Ultra Rumble doesn’t offer crossplay support. If you’re playing on PC and want to play with friends on other platforms, you can’t. The same counts for any platform: you’re unfortunately stuck with that platform’s playerbase exclusively.
MHUR has launched with 18 characters to pull and play, ranging from Deku and All Might to Mr. Compress and Ibara. One draw over some other battle royales is the matches are rather short — you won’t be roaming the map long looking for someone to beat up. Another plus is that you don’t have to pay for it, gacha system aside.
It’s possible the game may get crossplay in the future, perhaps if it comes out on Android and iOS. MHUR seems perfect for mobile play. As it stands, though, publisher Bandai Namco hasn’t made any statements about future crossplay possibilities.
Now you know whether My Hero Ultra Rumble crossplay is possible or not. Regrettably, crossplay isn’t available just yet, but there’s no saying it won’t be in the future. Look for more MHUR guides here on GameSkinny.
