Is Scarlet Nexus on Game Pass?

Wondering if Scarlet Nexus is on Game Pass for Xbox or PC? We've got some bad news.

Scarlet Nexus is the latest action RPG from Bandai Namco, and it’s received some pretty fantastic reviews so far. But if you’re hoping to play it on PC or Xbox platforms without plunking down $60 to do so, you may be wondering if Scarlet Nexus is on Game Pass.

So, is Scarlet Nexus on or coming to Game Pass? No.

According to several reports, including this one from Video Games Chronicle, Bandai Namco have said they do not intend to bring Scarlet Nexus to Game Pass for PC or console.

Though the developer and publisher does somewhat leave the door open by saying that they “have no plans … at this time,” it does appear that even if Scarlet Nexus does eventually show up on Game Pass, it won’t be anytime soon.

Why Scarlet Nexus isn’t on Game Pass isn’t exactly clear. Another Bandai Namco action RPG, Code Vein, is currently available through the service, though it was added in late 2020, a year after its initial release. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was also available on Game Pass until early June.

Ultimately, it’s up to Bandai Namco which games appear on Microsoft’s service, as well as when those titles become available and when they leave. Depending on factors unknown, it’s very possible Scarlet Nexus will eventually find its way to Game Pass in the future.

Scarlet Nexus is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It follows two protagonists, Yuito and Kasane, fighting against brain-munching aliens to protect humankind.
