With Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League releasing February 2 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox, players are wondering about Game Pass access. So is Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League on game pass? Will it join other DC games like Arkham Knight or Gotham Knights?
Is Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League on Game Pass?
Rocksteady has confirmed that Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League won’t be available on Game Pass on release. This may change in the future post-launch, as many DC games are already on the subscription service. Examples include Arkham Knight and Gotham Knights, so a post-release Game Pass addition is definitely in the realm of possibilities.
For now, we’ll need to purchase a copy if we want to play the game. On the bright side, SSKJL does support crossplay and cross-progression, so once you buy the game on consoles, you’ll be able to play it with your PC friends and vice versa. But speaking of online play, do you need monthly subscriptions to play the game on your platform?
Does Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League Require a Game Pass Core Membership?
It depends on how you want to approach the game. You need a Game Pass Core subscription if you want to play online co-op. On the other hand, if you want to play solo, you don’t need any kind of membership. That said, the game still needs to be online even when you’re playing solo, which is slightly frustrating. Rocksteady has confirmed that offline play will be available at some point post-launch.
The offline mode will be released sometime during 2024, allowing us to experience the story without an internet connection. And I hope that coincides with a Game Pass release. But for now, Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League isn’t on game pass. Sorry, Mr. J.
