I’m on the hype train. Lethal Company is the most fun you can have screaming with your friends for 10 bucks. The game has taken the online co-op horror scene by storm. But can you run it? Here are the recommended and minimum PC requirements for Lethal Company in detail.
The Specs Needed to Run Lethal Company: Minimum and Recommended Requirements Explained
In short, Lethal Company is decently accessible in terms of system requirements. But due to its Early Access state, its optimization isn’t quite clear yet. It seems that its minimum requirements are its actual recommended specs. I say this because I played the game on lower-end machines with a GTX 750 and 960 card, and it worked fine despite the 1050 requirement. A mid-tier industry-standard rig today will run it without issue, along with sub-1000 GTX ones, as well, it seems.
As with most modern games, you’ll need a 64-bit processor and operating system. Specifically, Windows 10 OS. Here are the minimum system requirements.
Lethal Company Minimum Requirements Listed
- Processor: Intel Core i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz; Shader Model 5.
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050.
- DirectX: Version 11.
- Network: Broadband Internet connection.
- Storage: 1 GB available space.

The Details on Lethal Company’s Recommended Requirements
While slightly confusing, the above seem to be the required system requirements, even though they’re currently displayed as minimum ones on the Lethal Company Steam page. The actual minimum specs are still to be explored. As I mentioned, lesser rigs will run it just fine, as well. As soon as concrete minimum and recommended system requirements are outlined, we’ll update you on them.
The high system requirement accessibility is great to see for an indie game like this. It means that players who aren’t usually PC gamers and have lower-end machines can try and enjoy the game as well. So, if you have a GTX GPU that is sub-1000 series, you’ll most likely be fine as long as you have around 1 GB of video memory.
Additionally, while you can play the game solo, it’s largely focused on its online multiplayer aspect. That’s why I recommend you stick to a LAN cable connection if you can. Furthermore, a decent microphone is recommended due to the highly entertaining proximity chat feature.
Those are the minimum PC requirements in Lethal Company. The game shows a lot of promise, and I am hoping it will have a bright future. Its barebones yet intriguing lore combined with the horror/humor blend makes it quite enjoyable.
