Lembas Bread is an iconic food from the Lord of the Rings franchise. Perfect for long walks to Mordor, this crusty ration kept Frodo and Samwise going when they had nothing else. This is how to make Lembas Bread in Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria.
How to Unlock and Craft Lembas Bread in Return to Moria
To unlock the recipe for Lembas Bread, you need to harvest a specific rare plant, Elbereth’s Blessing.
How to Get Elbereth’s Blessing
Thankfully, Elbereth’s Blessing is pretty easy to find. It can be found in the Elven Quarter growing out of an statue depicting a maiden playing a flute. There should be four plants that you can harvest the first time you come across the statue. From then on, you can only pick the plant once a day. Once you pluck one, though, you’ll unlock the bread recipe.

- Khudzul Oat x3
- Elbereth’s Blessing x1
Aule Blooms are found in the Elven Quarter as well, but Khudzul Oat means you have to head into the Mines of Moria. I found that making my main base camp at the ruins of Bolin’s in the mines allows ease of access to all necessary ingredients.
It takes almost six minutes to bake, so you’ll want to make extra servings if you have the ingredients for it. I typically line up as many as I can craft then head to bed. When I wake up they’re all set and ready to be collected from the oven.

The ration is one of the best that you can carry with you, as touted by Samwise. It fully heals you and replenishes your energy. This has kept me from dying in the Lower Deeps more times than I can count. Along with the healing benefits, it does fulfill some of your hunger meter.
