On Reveal is one of the primary card ability types in Marvel Snap. These cards have abilities that activate when the card is revealed. There are many different styles of deck to play, even within the restriction of playing mostly On Reveal cards. However, we have found this selection of cards to work excellently together in what we can safely call one of the best decks in the game.
By using this combination of On Reveal cards and a special Ongoing card that boosts your other players on the board, you will soon be a master of Marvel Snap. This deck is especially great because you have many of these cards from the get-go. You just need to acquire a certain few in the later pools to be able to make optimal use of these early-game powerhouses.
S-Tier Cards
Wong
- Collection: Pool 3
- Ability: Ongoing: Your On Reveal abilities at this location happen twice.
Wong is the lynchpin of this deck. His ongoing ability makes it so all on reveal abilities played at the same location happen twice. Played in conjunction with the next two cards, Wong is part one of a winning three-step combo.
White Tiger
- Collection: Lvl 1-14
- Ability: On Reveal: Add a 7-Power Tiger to another location.
White Tiger is a decent card, but played after Wong it will spawn two 7-power tigers to the other locations. And when Odin is played on top of that, your board will be filled with powerful cards.
Odin
- Collection: Lvl 1-14
- Ability: On Reveal: Activate the On Reveal abilities of your other cards at this location.
By activating the On Reveal abilities of the other cards at his location, Odin can re-activate cards like White Tiger, Ironheart, and Black Panther and give you a huge advantage. When played in combination with Wong and two other good cards, one well-played location can end up winning you an entire game.
A-Tier Cards
Black Panther
- Collection: Pool 4
- Ability: On Reveal: Double this card’s Power.
This is a rare card, but if you manage to get it, Black Panther belongs in this deck. Combined with Wong and Odin, it can become the single highest powered card in Marvel Snap.
Ironheart
- Collection: Recruit Season
- Ability: On Reveal: Give 3 other friendly cards +2 Power.
Ironheart is another card that can power up your other cards on the board in a major way in this On Reveal deck. By playing Ironheart on a location where you have Wong, you will be able to give a +2 bonus to six cards. If you manage to play Odin after, you will wind up activating Ironheart’s ability four additional times.
Gambit
- Collection: Pool 3
-
Ability: On Reveal: Discard a card from your hand. Destroy a random enemy card.
Gambit is a shockingly great card for this deck. Played in conjunction with Odin and/or Wong, you can completely annihilate your opponent’s board, taking out at least two (and up to six) of their cards if played right.
Spider-Woman
- Collection: Pool 1
-
Ability: On Reveal: Afflict all enemy cards here with -1 Power.
Spider-Woman is another card that can wreck your opponent in this deck. Playing it after Wong or before Odin, will make it so that your opponent’s card opposite the location where you play Spider-Woman will be completely useless.
