This is a quick overview of the new Xbox One Dashboard. The new dashboard is very reminiscent of the 360 dashboard with some nice improvements.

The basic layout
  • Pin
  • Home
  • Store

Pin is where you customize the layout, only showing your favorites apps and games. Then the Store panel is obviously where the store is, it includes anything you’d expect, music, TV, movies, games, etc.

Setting Menu

Getting to the settings menu may not be intuitive for you though. If you have the Kinect hooked up you can simply say, “Xbox, show menu.” You can also press the right menu button on your controller.

I will get back to you guys on more of the in-depth and hidden Xbox One settings soon! For now I’m going to go play Forza Motorsports 5.
